Totally agree that springers should be returned. Surely to prevent them being killed after this apparently arbitrary date should not their be catch and release right through the year as some may be taken after this date.Cannot understand why the nets are allowed to kill fish from 1st June, seems very unnfair on rod anglers. Is the raffling off of mercy killing fish illegalas this is selling rod caught fish
