The Tweed Foundation's annual Auction of autumn fishing has a few dates still available. 
The Auction provides a unique opportunity to experience some of the best fishing available on Tweed

Tweedhill Friday 10th & Saturday 11th September 2010  (Lots 7 & 8 respectively) 2 rods on each day
With conditions good in the lower River at present the dates on Tweedhill look very attractive in early September.  The lowest fishable beat on Tweed, with a five year September average of 21 Salmon, the Tweed Foundation has 2 rods  on offer on each date of Friday 10th and Saturday 11th September.  Offers for each 2 rod day in the region of £250.

Ravenswood Monday 20th September 2010 (Lot 10) 2 rods
In middle Tweed, and one of the prettiest and most private beats, we have a date in the Auction available in mid September. Ravenswood is on offer for a 2 rod day for around £350.

Upper North Wark Saturday 25th September 2010 (Lot 19) 2 rods
A lower river beat a little upstream of Coldstream. The Auction has 2 rods available on a late September Saturday on Upper North Wark for offers of around £450 for the pair.

Traquair Monday 27th September 2010 (Lot 20) 2 rods
Higher up the system, we have 2 rods for a day on Traquair in the pretty, and wilder, Upper Tweed. Offers of around £100 for the 2 rod day are sought.

West Newbiggin Monday 11th October 2010 (Lot 23) 2 rods
Another lower river beat, opposite Ladykirk.  An opportunity to fish a private syndicated beat. Caught 15 Salmon last season.  The donor will act as one of your boatman for the day and also undertakes to supply hot bacon butties on arrival - something rods fishing this Auction Lot in previous years have praised highly! West Newbiggin is on offer at £200 for the 2 rods.

Drygrange Saturday 20th November 2010 (Lot 34) 2 rods
Drygrange is situated in middle Tweed near St Boswells and above the Ravenswood and Gledswood beats.  It caught 23 Salmon last November and is a wading only beat. We have 2 rods on offer for around £600.
