The Savills Malloch Trophy 2010

The Savills Malloch Trophy is awarded for the heaviest Salmon of the season,
caught on the fly on any Scottish river,
and released.


Have you caught a fish of more than 20lbs on Tweed this season?

Then enter the Savills Malloch Trophy competition. Here's how:

CATCH IT  Catch your wild Atlantic Salmon on a fly
WEIGH IT Those over 20lbs are contenders
MEASURE IT Both length and girth (take a photo if possible)
VERIFY IT Independent witness required
RECORD IT Detail fishing tackle used, date, time and place of capture
RELEASE IT
ENTER IT Entry forms are available below, or the River Tweed Commission's office, or from the Tay District Salmon Fishery Board (which also lists the full rules of the competition).
