Fish Counter Results - August 2007 (see attachment)

Somewhat delayed this month, owing to confusion over making the pdf files out of the spreadsheet !

Ettrick : Not a great total for this month, but not the lowest. The high water in July and earlier must have taken many fish up that in a more normal year would have been delayed till August or later.

Gala : The first ever August count, so no comparisons possible. Whether or not in a normal, dry, summer, anything like this number of fish will head up the Gala in August remains to be seen - it is difficult to think of any fish wanting to make the passage at a normal, low, summer level
