Despite the poor flows over the month, the Ettrick counter recorded a respectable, if below average, count for the month, as shown on the attachment (find below). At least 93 of the fish counted were Salmon.

The Gala continued to contrast sharply with the Ettrick, with nothing recorded for a month again.
