Of the five Grayling tagged at Drygrange on The Leader Water on 16th December 2006, three (60%) have now been recaptured.  All were caught in the same place where they were tagged, and one has been caught twice (on the same day)!

This adds to the evidence that grayling are very sedentary, so that those in popular fishing spots are very likely to be caught several times.

News on recaptured fish provides useful information for the Tweed Foundation. If you catch, or find, a tagged fish of any species please pass the information on to the Foundation.  We need to know the Tag No., capture date and place, and any other information out of the ordinary about the fish.
