Monday 26th November : Kenny is on traps this week, so in the office all day, mainly taken up by a meeting with the new RAFTS director, Callum Sinclair. Kenny reports that the one large female Sea-trout that has gone up the Cardrona burn this season was back down at the trap today, so she was let through to make her way back to the sea.
Tuesday 27th November : In the office most of the day, but went downriver at lunchtime to collect scale packets and to look at the modifications made to the Coldstream trout trap. Not many of the fish being caught at present are being killed, so not many scale packets but two very nice, fresh twelve pounders on the bank at The Junction.
Wednesday 28th November : In the office most of the day, out at lunchtime to collect up scale packets.
As I will be going on leave tomorrow, and it is mainly office work at this time of year, this Blog will start again in the New Year, when interesting things begin to happen again.
