Following the tagging which took place on 16th December 2006, there are two reports of recaptured Grayling to date.

Tag No. 253 was tagged on the Leader Water at Whitslaid on 16th December and recaptured 11 days later (27th) at Whitslaid.

Tag No. 234 was tagged on the Leader Water at Drygrange on 16th December and was recaptured - twice! - during the Earlston Grayling Competition on 13th January 2007.  This lethargic Grayling had not moved from the pool where it had been tagged and was caught twice, on the same day by the same angler!  Once, in the morning at the top of the Iron Bridge pool and the second time at the bottom of the Iron Bridge pool!
